Meet Nikolas Onoufriadis!
Nikolas Onoufriadis is a seasoned professional who recognizes the vital equilibrium between work commitments and self-nurturing. Born and raised in Greece, Nikolas has resided in the United States for the past two decades. Possessing an insatiable wanderlust, he has traversed over 20 nations for both business and personal reasons, endowing him with a profound cultural acumen and a contemporary explorer’s spirit. His zest for engaging with diverse individuals, thriving in social contexts, providing assistance, and embracing novel experiences is palpable. A self-professed connoisseur and enthusiast of timepieces, this fascination has remained a steadfast passion for him over the last 23 years.
Nikolas Onoufriadis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a specialized focus on International Relations from the University of Massachusetts. Concurrently, he pursued a second Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Harvard University. Stimulated by his intrigue in politics and the dynamics of interpersonal communication, Nikolas actively participated in the Kerry/Edwards Presidential Campaign, serving as the Assistant to the campaign’s Strategic Advisor. This role equipped him with the skills to organize and motivate large cohorts effectively.
In a pursuit to refine his adeptness in communication and diplomatic prowess, Nikolas undertook a Master’s program in Political Science (International Relations) at Suffolk University. He also represented the school as an Ambassador to Greece and Cyprus. Subsequently, he undertook a second Master’s in Public Administration with an emphasis on Strategic Communications. Simultaneously, he was enrolled in Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government Executive Education program. Here, his role as the Program Coordinator for Harvard’s Middle East Initiative exposed him to the integration of effective communication techniques with real-world socio-political challenges across the globe. His dedication culminated in the receipt of a Certificate of Acknowledgment and Appreciation for his substantial contributions.
In the subsequent phase of his journey, Nikolas embraced roles as both a Mental Health Counselor and a Management Consultant at the Institute for Mental Health in Athens, Greece. Within this capacity, he advised the Institute, featured on television and radio platforms to address psycho-social concerns, and co-authored various publications disseminated internationally. This experience proved instrumental, acquainting Nikolas with intricate matters pertaining to interpersonal relationships, communication practices, and societal dynamics. He asserts that these experiences, alongside his tenure at Harvard, laid the groundwork for his subsequent life choices.
Equipped with the tools indispensable for his next chapter, Nikolas embarked on a trajectory that would mold his ongoing career. He embarked on a challenging role as the Manager of International Business Development at INTRASOFT International (now part of Netcompany), a multinational conglomerate intent on robust global expansion. In this capacity, he formulated strategies, unearthed novel prospects, and bolstered INTRASOFT’s presence across numerous countries through strategic collaborations and projects. His remarkable achievements prompted the Group to appoint him with the responsibility of establishing INTRASOFT USA in Boston, a mantle he carries to the present day, overseeing the Group’s operations in the United States.
